Why DaoJoy exists

Travel planning often fragments at the moment a trip becomes real. Inspiration sits in one place, reservations in another, translation somewhere else, and a change can leave every person working from a different version. China can add another layer of practical questions: how an address should be shown, whether a place fits the day’s pace, who can explain local life, and where to turn when an assumption changes.

DaoJoy is designed to keep those questions around one journey. The aim is not to make travel feel automated. It is to make the plan, the people and the next decision easier to understand.

The role of local guides

A local guide is more than a route marker. The right person can connect a place with its history, daily life and current rhythm, while adapting the conversation to the travelers in front of them. Published profiles are intended to make that role visible before a service is confirmed.

Guide information describes an individual’s published languages, experience, interests and service areas. It does not turn a guide into a medical, legal, immigration, financial or emergency authority, and it does not guarantee a particular outcome.

Digital assistance and travel-advisor responsibility

DaoJoy may use digital tools to help organize information, support translation or present a draft more clearly. Those tools can be useful, but they may be incomplete. A draft is not live availability, a formal quote or a confirmed service.
